Copper is a metal that occurs naturally in rock and soil. It is commonly used in plumbing, electrical, and electronic industries. Some uses of copper is given below:
Copper is used for many things. Copper (Cu) is used widely in making wire for use as an electrical conductor as it is one of the best yet cheapest materials for this application. It is also used to make pennies. Other applications include construction materials, and as an addition to another or other metals to make alloys. It is used in police badges, and that is why they are called "cops." It was also used in the statue of liberty .
