Littelfuse, Inc. (NASDAQ:LFUS) announced the addition of the SP3012 Series to its expanding range of TVS Diode Arrays (SPA™ Family) for ESD protection of high-speed ports such as USB 3.0. The SP3012 Series offers an extremely low loading of capacitance of only 0.5pF while providing ESD protection of ±12kV exceeding the maximum level specified in the IEC61000-4-2 international standard. Additionally, it provides market leading clamping performance due to its low dynamic resistance of only 0.4? which reduces the peak voltage seen by the chipset by as much as 80% in some cases when compared with similar competitive products.
